Juan Canales, better known by his stage name Skunkdub, is a 2-time Grammy Considered Reggae Artist. He is an American multi-genre, singer-songwriter and producer. His backing band, The High Influence, include Randy Ramirez “Ras Ranger” as the MD/bassist and Kayli Canales “K-dub” on drums. Skunkub and The High Influence originated in Los Angeles suburbs of Riverside County.
Skunkdub has a distinct writing style both lyrically and musically. He seamlessly incorporates rock, reggae plus blues melodic grooves, and mix medleys of covers from Bob Marley, Led Zeppelin, Incubus, The Green, Pepper and Sublime, just to name a few, into his songs. Which influenced his first LP album, “Royale with Cheese”. Later releasing singles like, “Look at the Love” and “Make you Move.”
